Kamloops Bike Trails in Bachelor Heights - Jan 23, 2022

Driving up to Isobel Lake a few days ago, we noticed a number of people walking some trails in the Lac du Bois grasslands area not too far above Bachelor Heights in North Kamloops. So today we decided to get out and try them. Turns out that these trails are associated with the Kamloops Bike Riders Association as per the sign at the parking area. There were some bike tracks but we didn't see riders, just hikers and snowshoers. It was an overcast day but was great for a workout up to the communications tower. We had our snow shoes in the truck but opted for our ice cleats which worked out very well for the hard snow and narrow trails. Two hours of good hiking! Will definitely return in the spring to explore more of the trails.
